Start your journey with Air Oceanic by completing our training programme and earning your First Officer qualification.
Before you can begin flying official Air Oceanic operations, you'll need to complete the following training pathway.
Use the /apply command in #course-application in the Discord server (discord.airoceanic.org) to begin your training and receive the F/O Trainee role.
Follow the instructions sent by the training bot. This includes joining the classroom, studying the online theory materials, and requesting your theory examination.
After successfully passing the theory exam, you'll be placed into the training queue. An instructor will be assigned to you within approximately two weeks.
Complete between one and three practical training sessions with an instructor and a Chief Flight Instructor (CFI).
Once you've demonstrated full competency and completed all required training items, you'll be issued the First Officer role and cleared to fly official Air Oceanic operations under your selected type rating.
